Gemma Nisbet is a Western Australian writer living and working on Whadjuk Noongar Boodja. A former travel journalist, she has a PhD in Creative Writing from UWA, teaches Creative Writing and Literary Studies at universities, and writes a weekly books column for The West Australian. Her first book, The Things We Live With: Essays on Uncertainty, is published by Upswell.
