Margaret River Readers & Writers Festival

Margaret River Readers & Writers Festival is the biggest regional literary event in Western Australia. Each year it brings an array of thought-provoking writers to the region including novelists, journalists, academics and established and emerging storytellers from WA, interstate and overseas.

Entry to the Visual Stories Art Competition Exhibition is now open. This year’s festival theme is ‘Stories that shape us’ and artists are asked to respond to the theme with a 3D artwork in the form of a ‘Story Pole’. Entries will be exhibited at the festival hub in Voyager Estate’s Gardens from 21 May to 3 June. Entries close 10 May.
