David Ritter
David Ritter is the Chief Executive Officer of Greenpeace Australia Pacific, with overall responsibility for the organisation’s mission to secure an earth capable of nurturing life in all of its magnificent diversity. He is a widely published writer on history, politics, climate change and the environment–including a dedicated longform essay published in the Griffith Review paying homage to the Margaret River community’s successful stand against coal mining. A West Australian who grew up in Perth’s foothills, David now lives in Sydney with his spouse and two daughters.
