Corey Tutt is a Kamilaroi man born on Yuin Country in Nowra, New South Wales. As a child, he dreamed of becoming a zookeeper and developed a passion for STEM in high school, but noticed little encouragement for Aboriginal people in the field. In 2018, Corey founded DeadlyScience, a not-for-profit providing science resources to remote Australian schools and connecting First Nations students with STEM mentors. Corey was named NSW Young Australian of the Year in 2020 and received an OAM in 2022. He is an Associate Professor at Western Sydney University. His third book is Caution!
