Miranda Aitken

Miranda Aitken is a Southwest poet and singer-songwriter; her poem ‘People of the River, Bilya/River Song’ greets visitors to Nala Bardip Mia – The Heart Margaret River. She performed recently at Nannup Music Festival and has been published in several anthologies. In 2022, Miranda Aitken opened The Marritree in Witchcliffe, an art space and bookshop. The Marritree is home to Witchy Words & Music, a monthly performance evening celebrating poetry and song with feature artists and poetry open mic.
