Mohammed Massoud Morsi

Mohammed Massoud Morsi is an Egyptian-Danish-Australian photographer, journalist and writer. His articles and writing have been published internationally and now in Australia. He writes in the three languages of his heritage, fictionalising true stories with emphasis on freedom and identity. Morsi worked as a freelancer for almost two decades before turning to writing. He’s currently working on a third novella and is in the early stages of an autobiography. He’s published letters to his son in four published works with photography, writing and poetry. Life has been far from conventional for Morsi. Growing up in Egypt and Denmark to living beyond where the sun sets and witnessing armed conflicts to becoming a father in the Perth burbs. His journey has been both a rewarding and traumatic roller coaster. Morsi believes his stories can build bridges and change our perceptions of what we should strive for as human beings.
