Siang Lu

Siang Lu is an award-winning author, television writer and the co-creator of The Beige Index, which explores ethnic representation on the IMDb Top 250 Films. His work has appeared in KYD, Southerly and Westerly and his writing for television has appeared on Malaysia’s Astro network. He holds a Master of Letters from the University of Sydney. Siang is based in Brisbane, Australia, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Whitewash (UQP, 2022) is his debut novel.
