Dr Paul Hardisty

Dr Paul Hardisty has spent over 30 years working across the world as an environmental scientist, including places ravaged by civil war, rampant corruption and violent conflict. He is the author of six novels, including The Abrupt Physics of Dying (Affirm Press, 2014), which was shortlisted for the CWA New Blood Dagger in 2015. His latest novel, The Forcing (Simon & Schuster, 2023) considers a world deeply affected by climate change, where those deemed responsible are being held to account.
