Susan Sullivan

Susan Laura Sullivan is a co-editor of and contributor to Women of a Certain Age, an anthology of reflection from women the other side of forty and beyond.

She writes fiction, poetry and essays, and her work most recently appeared in the Westerly Magazine, Tokyo Poetry Journal Volume 5: Japan and the Beats, and Plumwood Mountain. Her work has appeared in the anthologies In Their Branches, Acupuncture for Turtles, and Second Degree Tampering. Both her poems and prose have featured on Triple J and Radio National.

She has taught creative writing at Curtin University and at a community level, and holds a Master of Creative Arts from the University of Wollongong. In 2012 she was shortlisted for the T.A.G. Hungerford Award. She currently lives in Japan where she co-founded the Toyohashi Writers’ Group, and is a founding member of the Central Japan Literature Society.
