Holden Sheppard

Holden Sheppard is an award-winning Young Adult author born and bred in Geraldton, Western Australia and now based in Perth. His YA novel Invisible Boys won the 2018 City of Fremantle T.A.G. Hungerford Award. Invisible Boys also won the 2017 Ray Koppe Award, leading to a residency at Varuna, the National Writers’ House, and was Highly Commended in the Australian Society of Authors’ 2018 Emerging Writers’ Mentorship Prize.

Holden’s novella Poster Boy was named as one of five winners of the nationwide 2018 Novella Project Competition; it was published in Griffith Review 62. His work has also appeared in Indigo Journal, page seventeen, Ten Daily, the Huffington Post, the ABC, DNA Magazine and FasterLouder. His short stories are available through all major eBook retailers.

Holden’s writing comes from the heart: unabashed, unfettered and unafraid. He is represented by Haylee Nash of The Nash Agency.
