Saoirse Nash

Saoirse Nash may have been a performance poet and freelance gig organiser. She could have helped to organise the 2018 Perth Poetry Festival, Spoken Word Perth and a number of backyard festivals.

If she’d written poetry she might have been published in several journals or performed at gigs from the National Young Writer’s Festival, to a sold out run of Star-Crossed Poets at Fringe 2018. Her poetry could have been influenced by an anarchist philosophy and/or perhaps her experiences as a bisexual woman.

She may have also been interested in forms of community building, experimental writing and humour as a tool to build understanding between humans of all life experiences. Saoirse may also have found joy in running a number of gigs also influenced by those values, they might have been named things like Poetry of Promise or Epic! at the J-Shed.
