Ian Mutch

Ian Mutch is an Australian contemporary artist and storyteller, exploring beauty through characters, nature and details. Mutch creates artwork on a variety of scales using acrylics, aerosol, and inks. He has recently written and illustrated a new book for children titled More and More and More. The book follows Henry Harper hurtling through space, collecting things, only to discover what happens when more and more becomes too much. A timely addition to picture books in this modern era of consumerism and devices.

Born in Africa, Ian Mutch draws inspiration from traveling, landscapes, animals, characters and patterns. He has been co-publisher of Kingbrown Magazine and an industry speaker at Semi Permanent, Sydney and Agideas Melbourne. His artwork has won awards, given life to public spaces, and featured for well known brands and publications.
